Friedland Realty Makes Big Changes

HARRISON, NY — Friedland Realty Advisors, a commercial real estate services firm headquartered here, has changed its name and made leadership changes as well as several new hires, GlobeSt.com has learned EXCLUSIVELY.

Effective immediately, the company is debuting the new name, RM Friedland, as part of its new brand identity. RM Friedland aligns Friedland Realty with Robert Martin Co., a real estate investment, development and management firm, which has had an ownership stake in the business since November 2015 and recently announced a majority stake in the company.

“Since the investment by Robert Martin Co., our clients have truly benefited from the combined expertise and resources of two of the most seasoned real estate companies in Westchester County,” says Sarah Jones-Maturo, president and CEO of RM Friedland.

In the firm’s leadership shift, William Anson has been named managing director of the company’s industrial division while Colleen Quinn has been named managing director of the retail division. The seasoned industry executives will spearhead new business activities within their respective divisions, leading internal training sessions and fostering junior talent. In addition, Jones-Maturo, who previously served as president, has been named president and CEO of RM Friedland.

Anson has over 40 years of experience as a commercial broker specializing in industrial property sales and leasing in Westchester and Fairfield counties as well as the Bronx.

The majority of his career was spent running his own real estate brokerage company, Anson & Berger, one of the most highly-respected boutique firms in the area. The company provided services for both national and international firms as well as many private, family-owned companies.

Quinn has over 25 years of experience as a retail broker, representing clients such as the Fresh Market, Michael’s, Fidelity, and Mavis Tire. Prior to joining RM Friedland, she successfully ran her own real estate brokerage company, Quinn Commercial Properties, for over a decade. Quinn previously held positions with Northwest Atlantic Real Estate Services in White Plains, NY and CBRE in White Plains and Stamford, CT.

Industry veteran Beth White also has joined the retail team from Simon, the nation’s largest mall owner. Bringing over thirty years of experience as a real estate professional, White joins RM Friedland to build and enhance the RMF retail services landlord representation division.

As one of the most senior leasing personnel at Simon Property Group, White was responsible for varied and diverse assets in terms of EBITDA and geography.
