Challenge
Welby, Brady & Greenblatt LLP were looking to reduce their footprint at 11 Martine Street, where they had been a tenant for more than 30 years. Chris O’Callaghan, Robert Taylor, and Jillian Reiner from the RMF Office team were tasked by Ginsburg Development to keep Welby as a tenant within the GDC family of properties.
Action
The RMF Office Team proactively approached Welby, Brady & Greenblatt LLP well ahead of their lease expiration, inviting them to stay local at the adjacent 50 Main Street property.
Welby did their due diligence in exploring alternative options in the area, but the RMF Office team presented a compelling offer for 50 Main Street with its’ exceptional proximity to the Federal and County Courthouses and Metro North, plus extraordinary amenities to enhance employee retention.
Leveraging Welby’s strong existing relationship with the building owner, Ginsburg Development Company, the RMF Office team facilitated a seamless decision-making process for Welby.
Results
In Feb 2024, Welby signed a long-term lease for 11,970 SF at 50 Main Street in White Plains, one of the premier office locations in Westchester.
